We are a web development agency, and this website runs on Hostinger. So this Hostinger review is not based on a weekend test account: it is what we see every day running a multilingual WordPress site with Elementor, nine languages and a few custom plugins, plus what Hostinger’s plans, domain offer and checkout looked like on October 16, 2026.
Disclosure: ArtinTech Solution is a Hostinger partner. If you buy through our link we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. It never changes what we recommend, and this website runs on Hostinger too.
Prices and plan details checked on October 16, 2026. Hostinger may change them at any time; the price shown at Hostinger’s checkout is the one that applies.
Our verdict
- Good value for WordPress, especially on a long first term: $2.99–$7.99 a month at the sale price, including a free domain and SSL.
- Easy to manage: hPanel is clear, WordPress installs in a few clicks, and LiteSpeed caching is built in.
- Watch the renewals: plans renew at several times the promotional price. Choose the term with that in mind.
- Best plan for most sites: Unlimited. Premium is fine for one or two small sites; Cloud Startup is for busy stores and agencies.
Hostinger web hosting and WordPress hosting plans
Hostinger sells the same three plans as “web hosting” and as “managed hosting for WordPress”. The prices and limits were identical on both pages; the WordPress page simply highlights the WordPress tools.

Hostinger domains: the free domain and what it costs later

- Free for the first year with the hosting plans above. In our Unlimited cart the domain was listed and then set to $0.
- Renews at the normal price after the first year, like any domain. Check the renewal price of your extension before you register it.
- Privacy protection: Hostinger says it adds free privacy protection automatically for supported extensions, which keeps your contact details out of public WHOIS records.
- Transfers: Hostinger advertised .com transfers from $9.99 on the day we checked.
- One place for everything: renewals, DNS and the link to your website and email are managed in hPanel next to your hosting.
Our advice: if the site matters to your business, register the domain on a term you control and turn on auto-renew. Losing a domain to an expired card is a far bigger problem than the few dollars a year it costs.
What it is like to host WordPress on Hostinger: our notes
These are things we have seen first-hand on this site, not marketing claims:
- LiteSpeed is the web server, and the LiteSpeed Cache plugin works with it out of the box. Cached pages load quickly worldwide, helped by Hostinger’s CDN in front of the site.
- Hostinger adds its own helper plugins (Hostinger Tools and Easy Onboarding) and a couple of must-use plugins for updates and the preview domain. They are harmless, but it is worth knowing they are there.
- PHP is current. This site runs PHP 8.3, and the version can be changed per website in hPanel.
- Long requests have limits. The default PHP time limit is 30 seconds, and very long web requests (around a minute) are cut off. Normal pages never get close, but heavy imports or report jobs need to be split into smaller batches.
- WP-Cron runs on visits. As on most shared hosting, scheduled tasks fire when someone visits the site. On a quiet site, scheduled posts or reports can run a little late.
- Backups are in hPanel, and restoring one takes a few clicks.
What we like and what we do not
| We like | We do not like |
|---|---|
| Low price on a long first term | Renewal prices are much higher than the first term |
| Free domain, SSL and mailboxes for the first year | Premium has no CDN and only weekly backups |
| LiteSpeed server and cache built in | Add-ons can be pre-selected at checkout; read the cart |
| Clear hPanel, easy WordPress installs | Long-running scripts need batching on shared plans |
| 30-day money-back guarantee on hosting | The best prices need a multi-year upfront payment |
Who should choose which plan
- One small site or a portfolio: Premium.
- A business site, a blog that is growing, or several sites: Unlimited. The daily backups and CDN alone are worth the extra $0.80 a month.
- A busy WooCommerce store or an agency with client sites: Cloud Startup.
- Custom apps, Docker or software shared hosting cannot run: a VPS. See our Hostinger VPS review.

How to get the best Hostinger price
- Open Hostinger’s WordPress hosting page.
- Choose the longest first term you are comfortable paying upfront; the low rate lasts the whole term.
- In the cart, check the total and untick extras you do not need.
- Set a reminder a month before renewal to decide whether to renew, upgrade or move.
Frequently asked questions
Is Hostinger good for WordPress?
For most WordPress sites, yes. It is affordable, the LiteSpeed stack is fast with caching on, and setup is simple. Very large stores or sites with heavy background jobs should look at Cloud Startup or a VPS.
Does Hostinger include a free domain?
Yes, for the first year on Premium, Unlimited and Cloud Startup. After that the domain renews at the normal price for its extension.
Is Hostinger web hosting the same as Hostinger WordPress hosting?
On the day we checked, yes: the same three plans at the same prices, presented with different features highlighted.
What is the catch with Hostinger?
The renewal price. Premium renews at $10.99 a month and Unlimited at $16.99, compared with $2.99 and $3.99 a month on the first 48-month term at the sale price.
Where do I log in to Hostinger?
At auth.hostinger.com/login for hPanel, and mail.hostinger.com for webmail. Our Hostinger login and email guide has every link and setting.
